Tourniquets are often used in surgery of the upper and lower limbs in order to occlude arterial flow and create a bloodless field for surgery.

S-MART™ is an innovative, sterile, single use device providing exsanguination, arterial flow occlusion and sterile stockinette application in one easy movement. The S-MART™ is a specially designed silicone ring which provides the pressure required to expel the blood from the limb during application and prevent its re-entry when located at the final placement site.

Choosing the correct size device for the procedure could not be easier. Simply measure the patient's systolic pressure and limb circumference at the chosen placement site. Using the selection chart, select the appropriate size.
