Summit Medical are the exclusive distributor of the Medinorm pre-vacuumed closed wound drainage systems.

Medinorm systems provide a constant high or low negative pressure during the entire wound healing process preventing the wound surfaces and underlying tissue layers from being disturbed. This reduces incidences of haematomas, infections and rehospitalisation.

• Provides a constant low vacuum without the need to keep on repriming like bellows devices.
• Sizes available: 600ml.
• Robust bottles to minimise risk of accidental breakages.
• Available with an anti-reflux valve preventing potentially contaminated fluid re-entering the wound. The valve has been tested to be air and bacteria tight.
• Easy to read vacuum status. The manometric bellow indicates the amount of negative pressure present in the bottle.
• Status Strip. Rather than changing the container each day to assess the amount of evacuated fluid it is recommended to leave the bottle connected to the patient and read off the measurements and marking the strip with a ballpoint pen.
• Clear Wall allows both quantity and quality of the collected exudate to be determined. A mini graduation scale enables even the smallest quantity to be measured.
• Y Connector available - allows you to connect 1 or 2 drains to the same bottle.
• Luer Locks help to prevent any contamination between the fluid and user.
