The Summit Medical Group, backed by its majority shareholder, The Riverside Company, completed the acquisition of Eska Implants on the 31st March 2010. Eska Implants, now re-named Eska Orthodynamics GmbH to reflect the orthopaedic heritage of another Summit Medical Group implant company, Orthodynamics Ltd, will now be integrated into the Summit Medical Group in a way which enables the Lübeck based facility to further develop its contribution to orthopaedic clinicians and patients from across Germany and beyond.
The Summit Medical Group has, since 1984, carried a high reputation for the design and marketing of orthopaedic implants and accessories aimed at adding value to clinical techniques and outcomes. These principles and values match those held by the committed workforce of Eska and the coming together of these two companies creates an exciting opportunity for an expanding portfolio of products aimed at benefitting patient care.
